That would be pretty good for nothing but now that I've paid for it, I expect a little more from the guy whose opinion I most value on this website. Was the evasion performance by Kamala enough to earn your vote or are you still sitting it out?

That was a Costco pizza, which is a bad knockoff pizza. You can disagree with what he said, but your proof is flimsy at best. But you go with that. Now I’m waiting for your analysis of Komrade Kamala. Should I bring a handkerchief ? I won’t hold my breath.

She lied her head off. But she didn’t lie about Trump being called a disgrace by his own former chief of staff.

I thought between you and David, we would've gotten something on 9/11. Guess the temptation to bash Trump was too great.

NostraTrumpus...Indeed.

Well stated Steve and if last night proved anything for the 67 (edited as revised) plus million viewers (goodness that was a huge number to watch trump face-plant), is that the man and his minions belong nowhere near the seat of power. He is simply incapable.

Say what you will about Harris, but she was prepared, surgical and absolutely devastating to trump's psyche. He was a quivering, bloviating mass of gelatinous material. She threw the strong man for a loop when she marched across the stage to his podium, shook his hand and introduced herself.

And then it all went downhill from there.

PS. Loved the time and effort you went through to extract the craziness he uttered. You should get a raise for this fine piece of work. Notice i didn't call it "perfect" on purpose.

TDS is incurable

"Quit using "TDS" as an excuse to dismiss real criticism of Trump.

It's a lazy, thought-terminating cliché—a convenient way to dodge accountability.

Slapping "Trump Derangement Syndrome" on any critique doesn't make it invalid; it just shows you're unwilling to engage with reality.

Instead of going after his critics, try going after Trump for being a shit candidate.

People aren't "deranged" for pointing out his very real issues.

If you have to hide behind "TDS" to defend him, maybe it's time to ask why."

TDS applies to Trump voters. They are deranged enough to continue to support him.

I don't mind stating that there is both pro-Trump and anti-Trump derangement.

For example: Operation Warp Speed was an actual good thing from the Trump administration. Being anti-Trump deranged would mean never acknowledging that.

You and I will have to disagree on operation warp speed. In the end it has offered little to no benefit in fighting Covid. I would much rather the scientists working on it took their time and come up with something on the order of penicillin or the Polio vax.

Different diseases have different efficacies. Consider influenza: there is not a one-time permanent vaccine for that either.

One of the benefits of Warp Speed - beyond producing a viable vaccine - is also proving the viability of mRNA-based vaccines, and the possible use of mRNA vaccines to actually target the core of coronaviruses/influenza viruses/malaria bacteria/etc...

So, I will continue to give him props for that: it's one of the few things that I will re Trump.

As a very senior citizen, the vaccine eased my concerns quite a bit. I've had every recommended dose and no Covid as far as I know. My son will be sixty soon and has had zero Covid shots and no Covid. My physician told me if he were 25 instead of 52, he would not take the vaccine. All said, the vaccine is good and has saved lives.
