I realize a great number of people enjoy scary stories in October. This is more than a s**t show and is the worst horror story to date. I am going to skip October and it’s obsession with Halloween horror and move directly into November thankfulness. Thank you David for again trying to be a bearer of truth and warnings to the people. It’s getting hard to believe the country and constitution I love will survive this.

The motion to table the motion to vacate appears to be headed to failure with 11 nay votes from the GOP alongside the majority of the Democratic Caucus.

Aaaand it's done: Kevin McCarthy has been removed as Speaker. That makes his the second shortest Speakership: the shortest was a guy that died of tuberculosis.
Up front disclaimer. This is not a defense of Donald Trump.
Come on, David. Do you really think Mike Davis's remarks were serious policy proposals instead of an attempt at tongue-in-cheek humor? And how do you know that whale problems are not related to offshore wind turbines? Low frequency sounds can travel thousands of miles in the ocean and could conceivably cause disorientation of whales. Is the increase in whales washing ashore just a coincidence or is it like the coincidence of lung cancer and smoking? There was no proof of that either until real science caught up with self-serving reports produced by tobacco interests.
There is enough ammunition available to criticize politicians on both sides without resorting to questionable "facts".
Curtis, I honestly don’t know what to think. I do know that this is the only time I’ve ever heard a serious politician advocate for American gulags. And I also know that he’s doubled down on his lists. His Twitter timeline is full of similar posts.
The stakes are high enough that that I don’t think we can afford to not take these people at their word, especially given their history.
I’ll add that any politician who would even joke about executing personally disloyal subordinates or sending political opponents to gulags shouldn’t be trusted anywhere near the halls of power.
You mean like Biden threatening to nuke Americans in June of 2021? Or like Schumer: “I want to tell you, (Neil) Gorsuch. I want to tell you, (Brett) Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price,” Schumer reportedly said. “You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”?
I still believe Bidens' words were meant to convey a threat. I also believe Schumer was seriously inciting violence against Supreme Court Justices. Anyhow, here's more.
I scrolled through about a year of Mike Davis Tweets (Xs?). I did not find anything nearly as offensive many of the left-wing postings. I can't get too deep into any of that because I do not X.
David, the only political threats from prominent politicians I really believe are serious come from Trump, Schumer and the prosecutors whose campaign platform was getting Trump. So far, the only ones acted on are those about getting Trump. I was honestly shocked by Schumer's threat. I suppose you can read his mind when you excuse it just as you can read Trump's when you divine his intent and pronounce him guilty.

Looks like we're heading for a vacate vote.

Biden never said that. He said the Second Amendment didn’t permit private ownership of nukes. Here’s the video: https://youtu.be/SHLHkmWoYDU?si=LXfQL1aNT6Qu0Kub
And Schumer’s comment wasn’t an explicit call to violence. That’s pretty clearly figurative language like Sarah Palin’s “targeting” email.
I haven’t heard anything coming from prominent Democrats like what I hear coming from prominent Republicans.

I don’t think the context supports that in either case. I’d encourage you to listen to the clip I posted.
I’m not going to defend or excuse Biden’s comments in your Federalist link, but none come close to executions and gulags.

Davis did confirm his lists.
Did he confirm they were serious policy proposals?
In his own words:” Fact check true”
