Your work is appreciated but I don't think I have a single friend that reads political opinion. They vote based only on policy, legislation and the economy.
You are an interesting mix of characters, for sure. That's why i have stayed around as long as i have. Just when i think it's time to walk away; i'm reeled back in. by honest pragmatism, shockingly on point diatribes or brilliantly written technical articles that sail right over my head. The only ones that really lose me is when you do the deep religious dives, at which point my eyes glaze over.
I suspect, in the end, all three of you write as much for yourselves as you do for others. I find writing is both cathartic and helps me understand who i am and where i am. Ultimately, that's far more important than what someone/anyone thinks about what i write.
You are too far left for 70% of my friends to read and too far right for 25% of my friends to read. Maybe I need new friends...
