It's a blessing that America only had one civil war. However, she is a relatively young nation compared to European nations. They are going through their own democratic processes to elect their national leaders is in fact a relatively new concept to them, except maybe for UK.
It does not surprise me if there will be another civil war coming soon. A few years ago, I think either Pew Research or Gallup surveyed the public on whether there will be a civil war in future, approximately 30% of the public believes this is true. I'm willing to bet that percentage has grown a bit since then.
Sadly maybe America is due a civil war. All good things come to an end. All of this is part of God's plan as America is never mentioned in the Bible. Methinks that by then, America will have been broken spiritually and physically as well.
I sincerely hope this is not the case and that somehow there will be a spiritual revival in America. We seriously need it.
