David said it. Kay Ivey doesn’t want to destroy her career. If Ivey could win without serving the Big Lie, she should take the chance. Incumbents don’t like taking chances. Some other Governor (Kemp?) will have to do that first.

I'm sure having a political party that is wholly swallowed by people who demand you lie to them won't have any negative effects on our nation. This isn't a political class lying to the people it is the people demanding they be lied too. And the people who go along with it.

Another excellent article David. This is exactly how the Antichrist (Trump) works. He gets people to believe in his lies, and then once their values are compromised by believing the lies, they are too afraid and ashamed to admit they made a mistake and they can be manipulated in all kinds of ways. The Antichrist of course never admits he makes mistakes...he just doubles down on them! And loyalty only goes one way with the Antichrist (as Pence and many others have found out). My 'analysis' here might be a bit simplistic, but it's really sickening to see otherwise good people believing in the complete horsepuckey that comes out of Trump's mouth. I was drawn to republican ideas because of their emphasis on values, but believing and repeating lies (like the election was stolen) is a complete turn off. It's only the never Trumpers (such as the writers here and some republicans that still have values, such as L. Cheney) that give one a bit of hope. This has all been said a million times over, but I'll add my voice to this perspective.

Murkowski was reelected only because democrats voted for her in sufficient numbers to split the vote.
