Amen Steve. This story embodies the essence of evil that exists in all things trump. I suspect this story and the characters involved in it were (and still are) "good people." Nope, not like Charlottesville, but just solid citizens trying to do the right thing.
The giant sucking sound that has pulled so many in, from Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and on January 6 at the Capital all have one common denominator. Donald Trump. To a person, they've been drugged on the illusion he alone could save them.
The problem, you alluded to Steve, is the ugliness of their actions cannot be overlooked. Latham when confronted lied about her actions. Then we pressed, went silent. That story is old and worn because we've heard it time after time. Good people doing bad things for what they initially thought was the right reason.
Trump et al (that cast of characters who willing dragged innocents into this shit pile) all need be held accountable. Forgiveness? Maybe for the rubes, but most certainly not for those who drove the bus and ruined countless peoples lives with their lies. A fairy tail that was conceived for no other reasons than to soothe an ego-maniacs bruised manhood and allow him to collect hundreds of millions of dollars from the suckers who still see him as the second coming. He's not, he's purely evil.
Thank you. Enlightening.
"The Kraken was inside us all along!"
(With apologies to L. Frank Baum.)
