Let me know when we get closer to “Trump in prison” because I haven’t seen anything remotely close to it, as in actual indictments or charges. No points for “he’s good at delaying” or “it’s coming, but...”
There's one thing that becomes perfectly evident after reading this article and Steve's this morning, you aren't brother's separated at birth. No surprise here, your article resonated far more with me than his. I simply refuse to buy this sixth dimensional chess game trump plays. Way too much credit to a human being devoid of any redeeming qualities, especially long term strategizing.
Your column says it all; the man simply has no shame; none. He has no filters, no norms and no empathy. He operates in a vacuum of what's in it for me? The bottom line question is always, how much can i bleed from the suckers with this latest affront? That's it. End of story.
David Frum in the Atlantic had the best diagnosis i've read. This entire game was set up to attach trump to the hip of every republican candidate in this coming election. The smart ones are staying away from him, the ones with IQ's in the single digits are loving it and growing closer. BTW, there's any number of them.
Will it work? No idea. I still believe the Supreme Court Roe v Wade will set the course for massive turnouts. I've been watching democratic ad buys in Arizona and the assault on Master's past comments is devastating. He's scrubbed his website, but the video of his comments live on forever.
I mentioned in one of my comments last week, i would have liked to see Biden cut his speech in half. Less is more and stepping to the mic and nailing it quickly is a constant reminder of the differences between the wind bag. Especially when trump is there to put another politician over and all you get is two hours of his greatest hits.
Thanks for reminding us once again, trump will always be trump. Nothing more, nothing less. What we also know is, more people hate him than love him. It's just the numbers.
I don’t see how David and I are on opposite sides here. My post this morning was tactical. I actually deleted 3 paragraphs of spleen venting on Trump’s reptilian amorality. It was irrelevant to the piece which focused on what Trump is going to do to stay out of prison, build his brand and try to retake the White House. I wouldn’t underestimate his resolve to do it or his ability to plot these kinds of traps.
There were miles between your posts and i don't mean ripping him and his behavior. I know you are not a fan. You cling to the idea he is strategic and several steps ahead of everyone else. I read David to be more in the camp, he isn't. He is simply a feral animal who will do whatever it takes to get whatever he wants. It doesn't matter how he does it or who he hurts.
Hey Steve, if Trump stole Israel's nuke capabilities and sold them to the Saudi's does that doom America for good in the eyes of God or is it possible to to still avoid destruction?
And what does it mean to all those "pro-Israel christians" who used the basis of him moving an embassy to earn their vote? Does the betrayal of Israel make them an enemy of God?

I can’t say for sure that it’s coming but it seems increasingly likely to me. They might possibly wait until after the election for political reasons.

Or the absence of decency and morality in the right and christianity to reject someone so obviously evil. We all know Steve. Trump isn't the problem.
You do No True Scotsman so well.
