Your opinion may be correct but the above is illogical. Claims and allegations probably should be investigated. There is no reason to investigate proven facts. Hence the abundance of skepticism.
I think the key word is "enough." The implication is that he wasn't giving the answer and results that the president wanted, not that he didn't consider the allegations.
Fair point. It could mean that or it could mean he simply did not investigate. I don't buy the implication thing. The never-Trump talking point is that all such claims are unfounded and deserve no consideration.
