Being ignorant of who you are boosting on social media isn't something to encourage. Hitler wrote a good book too but I wouldn't go on twitter and say congrats to the guy.
If the dude deserves credit for anything its putting the well being of his friends and bandmates in front of himself. He showed a grace and selflessness that is seriously lacking in the world right now.
