Apparently D.C. mayor Muriel Bowser did request NG troops for crowd control, but since the president is the only one who can call up the guard in DC under federal law, you have to ask yourself what exactly he was doing for two hours after the sacking of the Capitol building. His aids say he was watching TV. Miller is asking us to believe the commander in chief indicated the need for 10,000 troops in DC which Miller dismissed. Insubordination? Gross incompetence? Personally I wouldn't believe a damn thing Miller was telling me after experiencing four years of the "truth" from this administration.
