"The American constitutional system is highly dependent on government officials doing what they are supposed to and voluntarily complying with the law. If a president refuses to comply and Congress won’t hold him accountable, there is little recourse. The courts cannot enforce their own decisions. It would be up to the military, law enforcement, and bureaucrats to refuse to obey unlawful presidential orders, and an Administration filled with Trump loyalists would not be inclined to disobey."

And here's your daily reminder that thanks to John Roberts, even if a loyalist was worried about being prosecuted for carrying out an unlawful order (after the end of Trump's term), that's easily solved with a pardon from the Big Guy.

I expect a Trump White House to go through pardons faster than they go through sticky notes, should he get re-elected.

Dark, a terribly dark and dim vision of America's future David. But alas, life will be what life will be.

On a brighter note, rather than agonizing over what will happen, why not have some fun with the possibilities of a second term? Let's recap those first 4 years with the idea he would only hire "the best people."

Now fast forward, knowing many of those "best people" are telling us not to vote for him. Hard to believe all of them are just disgruntled employees, but whatever eh?

Here's a shortlist, you can mix, match and place them in the appropriate spots to make our future secure; and as they say on Dancing With the Stars, they are in no particular order:

1). RFK.

2) Laura Loomer.

3). Rudy Giuliani.

4). Steven Miller.

5). Michael Flynn.

6). Hulk Hogan.

7). Marjorie Taylor Greene.

8). Tucker Carlson.

9). Victor Ramaswamy.

10). Dr. Ronnie Johnson (or is it Jackson?).

11). Leon Musk.

See the point of this exercise is the list is nearly endless of crazed characters who have bought into the grift and being used by trump. Hell, we haven't even reached into the family gene pool of genius potential they can fill the White House with.

Best of all is now with the talk of ending vetting by the FBI, anything is possible. The world will simply be trump's oyster.

Oh the freaking joy of it all.

After the Kushner security clearance affair last time, Russia and China have a wide open door to our secrets through these folks and anyone else willing to sell out* or who has generated kompromat.

* Note the high proportion of grifters in the list above. OF COURSE many of them will sell out.

Trump is on tv right now projecting again. Chaos. He was nothing if chaos his 4 years of torturing us for his own financial gain. Every word so far is projecting. I want to vomit.
