If you need something to buck you up, I was heartened to read about the quiet push to get sane Republicans back into office again:

"For more than a year, former President Donald Trump has berated Gov. Doug Ducey of Arizona, savaging him for refusing to overturn the state’s presidential results and vowing to oppose him should he run for the Senate this year."

"In early December, though, Mr. Ducey received a far friendlier message from another former Republican president. At a golf tournament luncheon, George W. Bush encouraged him to run against Senator Mark Kelly, a Democrat, suggesting the Republican Party needs more figures like Mr. Ducey to step forward."

It's not clear if McConnell will be successful in this, but I'm rooting for him and folks like Murkowski.

Also: "While other contenders in the crowded GOP Senate primary are auditioning for Trump’s support, Dolan is funding a battery of TV ads that don’t even mention the former president. And in a barely veiled jab at his rivals who are making pilgrimages to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, Dolan has declared that his campaign 'is about one thing, and one thing only: Ohio.'"

"While Dolan is widely regarded as a longshot in the Trump-dominated primary, those in the former president’s orbit say there’s good reason to be focused on him: The candidate is spending $10 million-plus out of his pocket, is slowly rising in polling and is poised to benefit from a raft of Trump-aligned primary rivals splintering the vote among themselves."

"Now, Trump is confronting a pivotal decision — one fraught with risk that will test his ability to shape primaries. He can wade into the murky field of pro-Trump candidates and try to consolidate his backers behind a single figure, but picking the wrong person could invite backlash from his base of supporters. Or he can stay out the fray entirely, but run the possibility of Dolan winning the May 3 primary with a plurality of the vote."

I'll skip Trudeau, too. Isn't there *anyone* worth supporting in politics or the institutions that feed off politics?

90 percent of truckers vaxxed. Over half the donations came from this country, 15% from people with .gov accounts. Less than 25% of donations were from Canadians. Seems like Trudeau is just doing what his country wants and stopping this foreign funded domestic terror attack.

The right to peacefully assemble is not a “terror attack.” If it is then BLM is a terrorist org. Antifa basically is anyway. The truckers didn’t burn anything, attack anyone or try to overthrow the government. They used their “offices” to make a point. Point was delivered. They didn’t have to be fought with guns to leave. They were cleared out rather peacefully.

Preventing people from earning a living and costing the country billions of dollars is a terrorist attack.

So when workers go on strike is that terrorism?

Workers can be fired and replaced. These guys were being paid by foreign money to ruin the lives of Canadians. What would you call them?
