Well good news it wasn't a hate crime. Just another guy from the SBC who got confused with the stupidity of religion and decided he needed to gun down women because sex is bad. If you're keeping track those lives can be added to the countless others the SBC has had a hand in ending in this country. Way more than any Muslim.
Reading Lawrence's comments below makes me want to gag. Tired of trying to be civil. This isn't about guns, it's about evil. pure unadulterated evil. I don't need bible quotes to tell me right from wrong. I don't need my butt in church on Sunday morning to tell the difference between love and hate.
The damned genie is out of the bottle and it may never be put back in. There's always been evil, but it's never been okayed by the person holding the highest office in the land. There is no bigger megaphone, no larger bully pulpit than the one trump had as the president of the United States of America.
We made the horrible mistake of electing a man with no filters. A man with no morality as his core beliefs. A man who lusts after the spotlight and who will do and say whatever it takes to stay in front of it. He is simply a cretin of a human being and we are paying the price for giving him that platform.
I have no interest in debating or arguing whether what he says is or was inflammatory. Whether it was rhetoric, lies or hyperbole. I've seen enough of his shouting and spouting at his rallies to know he is simply incapable of taking ownership of the misery he has inflicted upon this country.
Worse yet, his supporting cast of characters is too busy whining about Mr. Potato Head and Dr. Seuss. At some point everyone has to be held accountable and in the immortal words from the movie The Gladiator: "in this world, or the next."
Donald Trump didn't make people like him. Those people were already like him. If anything Trump has brought the hate out into the open. Now its up to people like Steve to decide if he will do anything about it.
White Supremacist, really. Do you mean a white racist or just a white person. Your overall thought on this piece was admirable but once again, you are letting your racist views show through.
Are you talking about the haircut? I don't think you can deny that many people who consider themselves white supremacists wear their hair like that. But it doesn't mean wearing your hair like that makes you a white supremacist. What racist views are you talking about?
I recognize that you were telling people not to fall for the hot take but that just reveals that you have fallen for the hot take. His haircut does not tell me anything about his race views. The White supremacist label is a fabrication with no basis in real life any longer as it has been so misused. Everyone that is white is a white supremacist in the democrats jargon, now.
There's also this really instructive piece by reinactors of the WWII German Landser. No coincidence about the haircuts of those of a certain persuasion. Which is not the same as saying that EVERY white male who has this haircut is a neo-Nazi. But just that there is a proclivity among neo-Nazi's to definitley style their hair in a very precise and easy to identify way. http://www.dererstezug.com/GermanHaircut.htm

May God help us all.

Agreed Scott, trump didn't create evil, he simply legitimized it.

I didn’t make any statement about the suspect’s racial views. Just his haircut.
How did you get to the white supremacist label.
You really can Google “white supremacist hair style” and find it but here’s one link from that search. This is fairly well known.

I guess I am not getting my point across to you. It's too bad that everything gets tied to the left's view on Race.
