I have no need, no burning desire to rub my neighbors nose in the fact trump got his ass kicked in 2020 by "old man, Biden." That's what those old decaying flags and lawn signs are doing, Insulting everyone who isn't a trumper. I may or may not get a Harris sign as the election nears. And, irrespective what happens when the dust clears, i will take it down.

Why the flock would anyone want to do that in the community they live in? Seriously?

I watched a CNN special Sunday night where they interviewed really active trump fanatics. Folks who made it their mission to get him elected. I try not to be judgemental, but good Lord, are these people even close to being normal? I won't call them deplorable, but what on earth fuels folks who believe in one conspiracy after the next?

I have my bias; you, Steve, Jay and Merrie are all right leaning folks who supported your republican party (Jay may have always been an independent), but your roots clearly are different than mine. The litmus test is pretty simple: It's breaks down this easily; was the 2020 election stolen? Did illegals vote? Did voting machines change votes? Were democratic operators carrying suitcases full of ballots into the counting rooms?

The answers to those questions have been answered dozens/hundreds of times by people way smarter than me. People/politicians that do this for a living, many of them with an "R" designation. If one is unable to admit the most basic of truth's, why bother with any other question that will be far more difficult to sort through with folks who have a had a trump brain fart and are trapped in its fog?

After reading comments, my reaction was simple: and this is why we can't have nice things. Not to pick on Steve and Cameron, because differences of opinion are what makes for good politics. But, and i mean a really big butt, trump has made any concept of truth a non-starter.

I know, i know, all politicians lie. In trump's case, it is the constant drumbeat of bullshit and hyperbole that his followers eat up. Then they come on sites like this and repeat it. First it was the Harris's crowds were AI generated, then it was mirrored reflections proving her arrival was photo shopped. Really guys, there were real live people with real life reporters at those events.

Then we saw the comments about Kamala's positions. They were twisted and stretched to the furthest extreme and had no semblance to what she was campaigning on. If you don't like her policies, say so, but quit making shit up that isn't even close to being true.

Curious here: Anyone catch the musk/trump act on X. I've read some reviews and they weren't very kind.
